Shipping Info & FAQ

PREORDER NOTICE

Preorders are held until the item is ready to ship. If you buy a preorder along with other books, the whole order will wait until the preorder is ready. Want your other books sooner? Please place a separate order.

Release dates are estimates and may shift due to delays (boats, customs, general chaos).

I need to change my preorder address

No problem. Email howdy@weirdplace.net with your order number and your new address. We’ll help you out.

Canada & US Shipping

Orders are packed and shipped out of Parc X, Montréal. Orders go out Mon–Fri (except holidays). All shipments include tracking.

  • Canada Post (default): 2–8 business days
  • UPS & Others (faster option): 1–3 business days (note: ships only on weekdays, so don’t cut it too close to the weekend)

International Shipping

International orders are also shipped from Montréal. We use carriers like Canada Post, DHL, or UPS depending on where you live. Delivery times vary:

  • Europe: 5–14 business days
  • Everywhere else: 10–25 business days (customs may slow things down)

Tracking is provided for all shipments.

Shipping Questions

Q: I live in [Some Country] but shipping feels expensive.

Unfortunately, some regions are always going to be costly. One option is to check with your local game/comic shop and see if they can order from us directly, we offer good rates on wholesale packages.

Q: I just placed an order but typed the wrong address. Can you fix it?

Email us immediately at howdy@weirdplace.net. If your label hasn’t been printed yet, we can update it. If your order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address we will reach out to you to see how you'd like to proceed. In case you would like the book re-delivered, we’ll send another invoice for the new shipping.
